While the hotel offers comfortable rooms and delicious meals, it leans towards a more no-frills experience. However, its charm lies in its character and the warmth of the staff and owners, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Cabane rooms, like the one I stayed in, provide a unique experience that adds value to your visit. The serene garden setting and the delightful surprise visit from a friendly cat under the starlit sky truly enhanced my stay. If you appreciate simplicity and genuine hospitality over extravagant offerings, this place is worth considering as your base for exploring the stunning Mercantour region.
